Manga & Hubba Bang is a fantastic restaurant in the south of Bang Sare. The menu is huge and I’ve never had a dish that wasn’t excellent. Bang Sare is definitely worth exploring. It’s only 15-20km south of Jomtien and it’s an easy drive along Sukhumvit Road. A Bolt taxi would cost under 300 baht. I would recommend lunch at Manga then visit the village and beach.
Renowned as one of the best Indian restaurants in the country, Maharani (Queen of Indian Flavours) is a top class restaurant in the 5* Royal Cliff Hotel. 11:00 am – 2:30 pm & 6:00 pm – 10:30 pm (Closed on Mondays)
Pattaya Park Tower is a must visit. A ticket gets you a ride in the cable car up to the main tower. This includes a really excellent buffet in the revolving restaurant. You can get to the cable car by walking through the tower grounds, OR you can get to it from DongtanBeach (towards Soi 5 Phratamnak). You can also get up to the restaurant via the elevator in the main building.
The most eclectic restaurant in Pattaya and Jomtien. Visited by Royalty and celebrities. Hidden down a small Soi. Incredible seafood at a low price. Just order a seafood curry and be amazed.
Incredible sky bar with unmatched views of Pattaya. 4pm-7pm is buy one get one free (alcohol served after 5pm) which makes the cocktails super good value. Go up to the 17th floor and change elevators to the top.
This place is on my “Must visit” list because it typifies the best in honest Thai cooking. Thai food Good Taste is a small family-run restaurant in Jomtien Soi 4.
They serve the best Thai food you can get, at a low price. Many restaurants charge double or quadruple the price, but don’t come close.
Most dishes (with rice) are around 50 baht. Try the crispy pork with garlic, but they only make a set quantity each day and it usually sells out early afternoon. Portions are generous and everything tastes fresh and clean. 10/10 for Thai food value and quality. You can find the restaurant by walking 100 meters down Soi 4 from the beach.
Cafe Des Amis has been the number 1 fine dining restaurant for many years. It’s run to a super high standard by an English guy called Blu (who also runs Cafe Blu, next door in Arcadia). The food is incredible and it really is the place for a special occasion. The signature dish is the Beef Wellington, which is just amazing. If I had a holiday in Pattaya, this would be at the top of the list.
