Fantastic new cafe called Sunflour. In Phratamnak Soi 4 (next to my favourite Co & Cafe). Really fantastic menu that focusses on healthy high quality ingredients. One you go, you will be hooked.
The best noodle dish I have had in Thailand. The flavour of the duck soup base was so deep, I could’ve just drank it without the yellow noodles and duck. This is a very old noodle restaurant in Pattaya. If you are near Tukcom, walk towards walking street and turn down Pattaya Tai 13. The restaurant is about 30 metres on the right. It opens at 6am until late afternoon. In the morning they sell pork and rice (until it sells out). It’s a really incredible “must-visit” place.
Stunning hotel with a great 23rd floor restaurant (oanoramic views) and a cool 24th floor sky bar. Unfortunately they don’t have a happy hour but the do some promotions (like the 899 baht 2 hour wine buffet). The rooftop is really stunning and it’s definitely on my “must visit” list.
Visiting one or more of the Cosy Beach “Hi-end” restaurants is a definite must. The problem is that people are going there to take photos and enjoy the location, the restaurants don’t need to serve the best food. They all concentrate on big menus and lavish drink, cocktail and wine selections. The prices are obviously higher, but not ridiculous. So I can’t really recommend one place and say it’s the “best”. Sky Gallery, Chocolate Factory, Forest by the Sky, 3 Mermaids, Lunar and Oxygen all compete in the same market. I would say that Forest By The Sky would be a nice start for some food, followed by a visit to the visually incredible 3 Mermaids. Oxygen deserves a visit on its own. Cosy beach has a bumpy access road that can get very busy. Be careful of the packs of Soi dogs that roam the area. Another option would be to go down to the beach (to the left of lunar: https://goo.gl/maps/qMeTCbtwG9tqmbtu9) walk down the steps and you can enjoy a great sunset and have cheaper food & drink from the beach vendors.
Tookta beach area, opposite Soi Whitehouse. 50 baht for sitting down. Pricey for food, but if you come for a few hours and relax, it’s a bargain. But expensive if you pop in to eat. You get charged 100 to sit on a chair all day if you just want to sunbathe , so pretty good if you want to lounge relax. Have to say, it was one of the best Panang I have every had, and I would gladly pay that again.
Beautiful boat noodle style restaurant with a big menu. The small noodle bowls are great and they do a lovely grilled pork too. The menu is in English as well. If you’ve never been to this style of restaurant, then this place will get you hooked.
The sky bar at the top has amazing views and the hotel is simply incredible (it has a huge water park). The food in the restaurant is excellent, but the venue doesn’t serve alcohol. But the good news is that you can bring your own! With no corkage. So bring a bottle of nice wine, and let them place it in a cooler and bring out some nice glasses for free.
Dine with the best view of the city. Thai and international food, ocean-fresh seafood, creative cocktails. Pattaya’s rooftop bar and only double-decker pool
Sands Sauna is the best in the area. The chicken Pad Thai is huge and was one of the nicest I’ve had. Som Tam Thai was great too. Easily the best sauna in the area with a Himalayan salt wall sauna and a great steam room. Pools are great too. The sauna end is situated next to YinYom Beach, very close to the end of Phratamnak Soi 5
